Chimera Interiors talks Camerich LA

Sarah Chavez and Marina Mizruh from Chimera Interiors are some of our favorite designers. Their interiors are sublte, modern and luxurious, and always have a point of view. We were happy to collaborate with them on a project in the Bird Streets by architect Paul McClean, and here they talk about a few of their favorite Camerich pieces, and about working with us at Camerich LA. Enjoy!

“It was really cool to collaborate with Michael and Stephen from Camerich LA on this project! They have such a high taste level, which you can tell instantly by walking into their showroom. It’s merchandised perfectly, and they make the entire experience very elegant. Great service, lots of custom options with short lead times, perfectly artful accessories – a true ‘one stop shop’.”

“We love Camerich for their basic, beautiful pieces. The Waltz Plus dining chairs we used here add a textural contrast, while being straigtforward enough in their form to not overwhelm the space.

We can put together entire houses from Camerich LA – from the actual Camerich furniture to the beautiful lighting and accessories collections they’ve curated – we especially love Atelier Areti!”

“Camerich pieces are warm, not sterile, which differentiates them from many others in the market. They are also easily customizable, and in a short amount of time, which is great when you are looking for the perfect fabric or texture to complete a room. We played with texture a bit above with the Lean Couch in fabric, and a hint of leather for the backless section. The Element Side Table (in double here) with its marble top added more texture, and of course a bit of luxury.

We also use the casegoods a lot for media – the lacquering on them is perfect!”

“The Screen Bed (top) and Crescent Bed (bottom) were perfect for the guest bedrooms. Sculptural and minimal, yet warm and inviting – they warm up the space!”
